Fishing story in the making.

The Red Baron Fishing Trip is approaching.  This was one of Dan's favorite events of the year, and he was heavily involved in the planning of this weekend excursion with the men (and a few female cousins) on our Mom's side of the family. To say that Dan will be missed on this trip is an understatement.








Judging by the influx of fish-related e mails in my inbox (578 at last count!), I know that the guys are looking forward to the trip.  The trip will be a bittersweet one- just as the first trip without Uncle Joe (the titular "Red Baron") was.  But the guys will honor the Unker and Dan in their own way, and I know that more fishing stories will be added to the canon.  And we will hear them all, because Jake is going this year :-)

Here are a few of the group shots from various trips.  I love seeing the kids join the group as they become "old enough" and seeing them grow.  The seas may be rough and the fish might not be biting every year, but those smiles show that a good time is still had by all.
